The Butterfly Pea Flower (Clitoria ternatea) is native to southeast Asia and makes for a beautiful, purplish blue cup when brewed on its own. Traditionally concocted with lemongrass, this flower can be added a pinch at a time to any cup of tea to create a unique tea with a unique color. The blue infusion color can change before your eyes to purple and fuchsia with the addition of lemon, lime, or other ingredients that change the pH of the infusion.
