Cold brewing tea is an easy way to make great iced tea. Makes a strong but smooth brew by not extracting the tannins in the tea leaves. Tannin is what can make hot brew tea bitter.
1) Decide what tea you would like to brew.
2) Use about 1tsp per cup, or 1oz per gallon of water.
3) Add loose tea to cold water in a jar and let steep for a few hours in the refrigerator.
Tip: You can just strain out the amount of tea you want to drink at the moment. Then add more water to the jar and put back in the refrigerator.
