Our Dragon Pearls come from the Yunnan province of China, which is known for some of the best black teas– it is malty, rich, and lacks the bitterness that other black teas are characterized by. This tea has a smooth mouthfeel and a pleasant, deep aroma.
Legend has it that tea was first discovered in Yunnan, China, and the long time that they have had to cultivate wonderful tea is evident in the quality of this tea. Only the best tea leaves undergo the hand-rolling process, which keeps them fresh for a longer period of time. Because of the quality of the leaves, this tea can be steeped two to three times in order to use all of the potential of the leaves.
